Pumpkin Spice Cookies

Do you ever have the craving to make some super cute cut-out cookies, but you don’t want to go the sugar cookie route? Well that’s how I was feeling, and I wanted to make some tasty fall-inspired cookies of course, so that’s where the pumpkin spice comes in!

A couple of weeks ago, Aaron, my brother Michael and I took a trip to our lake house in Frankfort, and the Crystal Lake Alpaca Farm was celebrating “National Alpaca Farm Day”. Spiced Apple & Pear Upside Down Cake

I’m back in the kitchen just in time for my favorite season of baking… FALL<3! You may have wondered where I’ve been?! Well, in early August I travelled to the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica to become a certified Yoga Instructor, and I just returned a few days ago. It was an absolutely incredible journey that forever transformed my life in ways that I cannot describe. New York-Style Cheesecake

Potlucks are my favorite, and whenever we have them at the office, I typically jump at the opportunity to bring in a tasty dessert! This week we’ll be having a huge Thanksgiving potluck which I’m super excited about – nothing is better than a Thanksgiving meal, and the more you have them, the better!

This is the perfect time of year for Cheesecake as the temps cool outside and we begin to cozy up inside. Harry Potter Butterbeer Cookies

I have a decent list of movies that I’m completely obsessed with: National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Home Alone 1 & 2, Elf, Father of the Bride 1 & 2, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and of course ALL Harry Potter movies! I love Harry Potter so much, that my work family threw me a Harry Potter-themed wedding shower, and yes, I do own the Lost Diadem of Ravenclaw and sometimes I wear it around the house. I never miss a marathon (thank you FreeForm)… being kind of a home-body, I just love to snuggle up on my cozy couch with a fire, candles & HARRY POTTER!
